One of the most significant and influential designers in America is Ralph Lauren. Lauren kicked off fashion week (and the worldwide fashion month that follows) with his Ralph Lauren Spring 25 show in Bridgehampton, NY.
Set at the lush 19-acre Khalily Stables, Lauren staged a diverse show featuring models on the runway, showgoers, and clothing and accessories, combining his Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label, Polo Ralph Lauren, and kid’s wear.
Known for his attention to detail and flair for the extravagant, guests who came to the Hamptons for this show were also met with much of Ralph Lauren’s car collection parked outside the stables, one rarer than the next. On top of that, horses were seen with riders showjumping as guests arrived to set the mood. After the 104 look show, the iconic Polo Bar was reconstructed for a seated dinner for guests.
The New Ralph Bag
The entire show focused on Ralph Lauren’s core aesthetic—Americana with old-time glamour. Ralph Lauren always finds a clever way to combine luxe with wearability, as seen in one of my favorite looks, which featured a full-length gold skirt paired with a more casual tank top.
Of course, our focus is the bags that went down the runway. With his different lines under his Ralph Lauren umbrella being shown, many bags were also shared. The very popular Polo ID bag accompanied many of the Polo RL looks, proving to be a lasting staple for the brand.
A handful of bags with similar design elements were also shown and later shared to be part of the upcoming Ralph Lauren Ralph Bag Collection for 2025. This new bag family grabs inspiration from Ralph Lauren’s other passion, vintage cars. In fact, Lauren had a smattering of his personal collection outside of the show, tying the entire theme and inspiration together.
These bags feature different silhouettes, all featuring lush leather. This leather ties back to vintage cars, far superior and richer than what we find in modern cars. One design shows belt detailing leaning into the equestrian side of the brand.
There is a smaller shoulder bag with subtle buckle elements on the sides and a curved top that would work for daily wear. I’m really intrigued by the large carryall, a bag that would perfectly suit a weekend trip in your vintage car to the Hamptons.

Celebrities at the Show
As is par for the course, numerous celebrities attended every Ralph Lauren event. Each donned full Ralph Lauren looks and carried different Ralph Lauren bags. The runway was another space where we saw celebrities, with some of the most notable names in modeling waltzing down the catwalk, including Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.
Ralph Lauren proved again why his namesake label holds such value in the fashion world. He has always had a clear vision of his brand identity, which has deeply seeped into American fashion dreams. And now, I am off to my closet to pull out old pieces and start pining for more from Ralph Lauren.
