Crafted from a blend of durable canvas and leather, this version flips the traditional Birkin inside out, quite literally. On the exterior, you’ll find the signature flap and sangles, along with a functional pocket reminiscent of the Backpocket Pouch. A closer look inside reveals the touret fastening, maintaining the bag’s heritage details.
Offered in size 35, the Birkin à l’envers was showcased at the Hermès Objects Presentation in Barénia leather and canvas in Black and Natural, as well as tone-on-tone combinations of Swift leather and canvas in Ficelle and Black.
Styled both hand-held and casually folded in half under the arm on the runway, the Birkin à l’envers offers a relaxed, modern aesthetic.
