This is a big list of the cutest reversible holiday decoration ideas. Make one craft and use it for multiple seasons just by swapping it around. Who doesn’t love a good two-for-one?!
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know how much I ADORE a reversible craft. I’ve made quite a few over the years and several of them have gone completely viral.
It’s just so much fun to be able to switch a decoration around at the changing of the seasons. It’s also economical as you only have to buy the structural parts once. AND it saves space when you’re storing the decorations in the off season. Win, win, win!
I’ve scoured the internet for the cutest and best reversible holiday crafts you can make to decorate for different seasons, so I hope you’ll scroll through and find some inspiration for your next DIY project.
Reversible Haunted House + Gingerbread House
This craft is so adorable. It’s made out of wood and is a haunted house for Halloween on one side and a gingerbread house for Christmas on the other side!
Reversible Wood Slice Pumpkins + Snowman
Make the cutest stack of pumpkins out of wood slices, then flip it around and there’s a darling snowman on the back. You can use this one decoration for the entire fall and winter seasons!
Reversible Pumpkins + Christmas Ornaments
This reversible craft features pumpkins on one side and Christmas ornaments on the other. The floral parts are attached with velcro so you can take them off when you flip the decoration over.
Reversible Candy Corn + Christmas Trees
You may not like to eat candy corn, but they sure are a cute decoration for fall. And bonus– the other side features Christmas trees!
Reversible Word Blocks
This example shows blocks that can be switched from a fall saying to a Thanksgiving saying, but you could do any holidays… St. Patrick’s Day to Easter, New Years to Valentine’s Day. I’ve even seen where there’s a different holiday saying on all eight sides of the wooden cubes.
Reversible Pumpkin Patch + Christmas Tree Farm Sign
Oh for cute. I love this reversible sign with the pumpkin patch on one side and Christmas tree farm on the other. She has great directions to make this one yourself.
Scrap Wood Pumpkins + Snowmen
This is probably the cheapest and easiest reversible craft because you can just use some scrap wood or board ends to make pumpkins on one side and snowmen faces on the other.
Reversible Painted Wood Slices
I like this idea a lot. Paint seasonal art onto wood slices and then flip them around to transition from fall to winter.
Reversible Driftwood Sign
This painted sign is made of driftwood. It’s fall on one side and Halloween on the other. Very cute!
Reversible Scarecrow + Snowman Pallet Sign
Turn scrap wood into a cute porch sign that features a scarecrow on one side and a snowman on the other. I love the addition of the bandana!
Reversible Summer to Fall Bunting
Oh, this is clever. Make a watermelon bunting for summer, then on the flip side it’s candy corn for fall!
Reversible Leprechaun and Easter Bunny Decoration
There’s no tutorial for this particular craft idea. I searched and searched and there’s just this one image. But it looks like you make a sign similar to the scarecrow one above, then paint one side for St. Patrick’s Day and one side for Easter. Great idea!
Reversible Holiday Porch Sign
These tall leaning porch signs have been really popular lately and this is a two-for-one with a Thanksgiving design on one side and a Christmas design on the other.
Reversible Fall Cutting Board
One side of this cutting board is painted for Halloween and the other for Fall. A very cute upcycle of a thrift store cutting board.
Interchangeable Wood Truck
This craft is not exactly reversible, but interchangeable. The wood comes unfinished and you paint all the different seasonal pieces that can be inserted into the truck bed and swapped out throughout the year.
Interchangeable Holiday Letter Sign
Another DIY decoration that’s not exactly reversible– instead you can swap out the letters in each square to spell out different seasonal words. Very cute and completely customizable!
So there you have it… tons of creative reversible craft ideas. Which one is your favorite?
