Louis Vuitton unveiled its Cruise 2025 collection in the stunning Hypostyle Room of Antoni Gaudi’s Park Güell in Barcelona. Nicolas Ghesquiere once again collaborated with set designer James Chinlund on the scenography, creating an impressive display.
The show kicked off with models adorned in sand-tone beige tailoring, offering a nod to the understated elegance of the 80s, and a hefty dose of contemporary Spanish flair – think strong shoulders and asymmetrical hemlines. As with most of Ghesquiere’s collections, texture took center stage, with lace, sequins, feathers, and dramatic puffball skirts, echoing the era’s penchant for bold styles.
Shifting the focus to the bags, Louis Vuitton breathed new life into iconic pieces like the GO-14 and NéoNoé Bucket Bag, while introducing fresh designs. Texture remained a key element in the accessory lineup, with glossy leathers, tweeds, and a hint of exotic materials throughout.
Let’s take a closer look at the bags. . .
Double Zip Handbag
Introducing a new silhouette from Louis Vuitton: a half-moon, two-part pouch bag. With a curved design reminiscent of the iconic Alma, this double-zip bag features a short detachable shoulder strap. Crafted in what appears to be a metallic high-shine coated Epi leather finish, the new style was showcased in icy blue and hot pink. Additionally, it also featured in classic Monogram canvas with black leather trim and black Monogram-embossed puffy semi-patent leather.
Surène Tote
Bucket Bag
It’s not Muria, Bella, Atlantis, or the NéoNoé, but one thing is certain – it’s a new bucket bag style.
Combining elements of the Bella with a hint of Side Trunk flair, it features reinforced leather corners and rivet detailing. The chunky chain handle, reminiscent of Bella’s leather and metal mix, adds a substantial feel to this iteration. Seen in vibrant tan knitted Damier Ebene, Monogram Reverse, and black Monogram-embossed puffy lambskin variations on the runway.
GO-14
The GO-14 makes a return for Cruise 2025, showcased in the MM size. This season, it appears in a striking terracotta tone and elegant beige leather. Adding texture to the lineup are options in black and white tweed, as well as a refined all-off-white tweed.

NéoNoé Bucket Bag
The NéoNoé Bucket Bag stands out with fresh colorways for Cruise 2025, displayed in both BB and MM sizes. This season’s offerings include vibrant yellow and slate grey, both crafted from smooth leather and free of any Monogram. Styled on the runway to be handheld, these new versions bring a modern twist to a classic design.
Slim Trunk
Following its debut on the Pre-Fall 2024 runway, the Slim Trunk maintains its sleek silhouette for Cruise 2025. This season, it’s spotted in Monogram Reverse and black embossed Monogram leather.
Camera Box
While the Camera Box remained untouched by animal prints in LV’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, it underwent a transformation for Cruise 2025. Now, reimagined in an abstract leopard print design, it adds a wild touch to the lineup.

Trunks
No LV show would be complete without the iconic trunks. For Cruise 2025, there’s a spotlight on smaller variations. From the petite yet elegant Speedy Trunk first showcased in the Fall Winter 2023 show to the beloved Petite Malle, reimagined in black and white tweed, and animal print.
Furthermore, Louis Vuitton expands its exotic skin lineup with the introduction of the Mini Trunk crafted from the ultra-luxurious Crocodilien Matte leather, boasting a similar aesthetic to Hermès’ highly coveted Himalaya bags.
Additionally, the Petite Malle was shown in black lizard skin leather.
