A winter wonderland lives inside these adorable waterless snow globes! All you need are some mini holiday trinkets, artificial snow, foam balls, a jar, and some hot glue to create your own bottled winterscape.

A magical winterscape inside a waterless snow globe conjures up memories from childhood, without the heaviness of water filling the jar. These sweet little snowglobes are really simple to make with figurines or bottle trees – you can realistically fill them with whatever you want because don’t need to worry about water degrading your pieces in this project.
They’re also a great way to showcase a delicate vintage ornament or Christmas figurine that was passed down to you.

How to Make a Waterless Snow Globe

- Remove lids from jars. Glue snowmen, trees, and/or presents inside the lids of the jars. Set aside. You can find the trees with ornaments here.
- Add artificial snow to each jar, about 2-inches up the side.
- If using, add some foam balls over the artificial snow. The foam balls are like cute little snowballs!
- Secure lid on the jar and gently shake to distribute the snow. Some of the snow will stick to the sides of the jar, giving them a wintery look!
Expert Crafting Tips
- The foam balls are optional. But if you do use them and have some left over, the kids will love making floam!
- You can use glass or plastic jars, any jars will do. Recycle your mayonnaise and jelly jars into cute waterless snow globes!

Instructions

Remove lids from jars. Glue snowmen, trees, and/or presents inside the lids of the jars. Set aside.
